UK November 2007, published by John Murray
'Anguish and fear have never been so much fun'
Andy Riley
'More than indulgent artistry, Jordan's doodles, buffeted by misery, dejection
and angst, are tentative explorations of social and deep psychological disquiet'
The Big Issue
'The most refreshing feature and wonderfully reassuring
revelation about Andre's work is that I rather feel I could
match his standard of artistic achievements! But he does
so say it as I might too!'
Jo Brand
'Are we supposed to colour it in?'
Ethel Stanmore, Aged 82

I would like you to write a love poem, in whatever style you like. You can email it to me andre66@gmail.com or leave it in the comments box below. The one that makes me laugh or cry the most will win a signed copy of Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now and this original doodle from the book.
The winner will be announced February 27th.
And the winner is....
Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who sent me a love poem. In total I received 108 poems via email and the comments below.
I picked 'Olive Juice' by Jess as the winner, because it made me smile in the same way as 'candyfloss' and 'snowmen' do. Jess, your doodle and signed copy of my book is in the post.
"OLIVE JUICE" by Jessica Mullan
your mouth spells it out
i blurt,
"i love you too,"
but i spoke too soon
all you said was...
"olive juice."

I've been asked to contribute a weekly doodle for the brilliant site A Way to Garden which is run by the lovely Margaret Roach.
Margaret Roach documented many of America’s finest homemade gardens for 15 years for ‘Martha Stewart Living,’ first as its garden editor and then as editorial director for the company. A Way to Garden is the latest horticultural incarnation of her personal (not corporate) creative expression.
Margaret has decided to live in the woods. (It's for the best).
