Especially when nasty people pull their wings off on purpose.

annie

i think i need to go to Spec Savers

is that a sycamore thingy?

andre

it is a dragonfly!!!

*now I know how Van Gogh felt*

miles away

the lace on its wings looks as the words appear below.

how big is the canvas?

annie

oh god

don't get him on to issues of size!

{runs for cover}

andre

Miles Away: 9x12

I think I will make a series of these.

Annie: I do not have 'issues' with size.

miles away

i'm sorry! i don't mean for the question to well, be flummoxing or hurtful accidentally, and such. you just never know if it's something that would fit on the head of a pin or something bigger than doors. or somewhere in between.

it doesn't really matter, i guess! is there a less...thingie...way to ask of what stature its physical representation is?

andre

I really should put everything together so you get some idea of size.

I did take a picture early of the paintings on my wall but I noticed my pants were still on the radiator and so I won't be posting it.

annie

Green Day - Working Class Hero

they've just released it on iTunes & it is for the crisis in Darfur

get the explicit version Andre, you'll like it

andre

I have downloaded it.

(the explicit version)

An Unreliable Witness

"I noticed my pants were still on the radiator ..."

That sound you just heard was an entire nation going *thud*.

andre

it's okay Mr Unreliable - they weren't my 'lucky pants'.

An Unreliable Witness

In that case, the nation shall sleep easy in their beds tonight.

Meesha

you have lucky pants? ;) do they, um, erm, help you paint better?

Miss Tickle

I am going to start a bidding war for the dragonfly.

I start at ten pence (more a reflection on the bidder than the art you understand.)

Rachel

oohhh i'll raise you to 20 pence! i love that butterfly!

Rachel

i mean dragon fly. *coughs* of course i could see that it was a dragonfly!

andophiroxia

"Especially when nasty people pull their wings off on purpose."

That makes me sad. So very sad!

Christine

Love the the contrast of a black canvas with white paint. Would love to see it in context with your other paintings.

Jacqueline

<3

Jack

I demand pant pictures!

Newbie

Jack is so demanding!

I like that.

annie

yes

& no we're not looking at your 'lucky' pants

honest guv

Angelalala

Your clock is fast.

andre

I took the pic yesterday.

annie: do not look at the lucky pants!

Mountain Goat

{head butts rock}

Mornin'

Nancy reckons you should paint the Jolly Roger [skull & cross bones] on the 'lucky pants' and fly it from the roof of your house.

Bye

andre

I am painting in the garden.

I do not care what my neighbours think!

annie

no Princess that's right!

& you do not care what my neighbours think either!

annie

& also

as you dug up your lawn at 2am once upon a time

i think they are probably used to you by now

xx

Miss T

Your pants are wierd-shaped.

Sort of agressive.

andre

Annie: don't call me Princess!

Miss T: Grrrrrrrrr

annie

sorry Precious

xx

andre

arse

annie

Mika then

skiergirl

The dragonfly is lovely... and I must admit I'm in love with your yellow chair.

guyana-gyal

'Vin-vinee' we call them. There were hundreds of them with the little flood, flying in the sunshine. Funny how you draw this when I'm writing about them, wow.

annie

mayflies!
&
helicopters!

{i promise not to mention choppers...oh bugger}

andre

no. please don't mention choppers - I am not one of those websites.

Yes, I love my yellow armchair too.

skiergirl

Yellow is quite possibly the happiest colour in the world. Will the painting be happy or melancholy? Or has it decided yet?

skiergirl

Okay, I'm officially losing it. Just went back and read "I plan to write happy things all over it", which is what prompted me to note that yellow is the happiest colour in the world. But in the time frame it took me to write my comment I had completely forgotten your statement. Long story short, I'm going senile and I'm only 28. Disregard future senile comments from me, I'm going downhill fast.

An Unreliable Witness

Methinks the doodler doth protest too much. "Do not look at this bit". Written in aggressive black marker. In big letters. Attracting everyone's attentions to the magically lucky pants.

Show-off.

miles away

it's a house-art-home-creato-bowler hat-repository with lovely lovely light!

hurrah! That sheep is enormous! and you could sit in the chair and look at the sheep, all day. that would be wonderful!

cosmosgirl

The metamorphosis painting those wings is powerful and nourishing though. "No one is given a burden they cannot carry."

Rachel

aye but he'll keep his word Mr Unreliable

i think the shakespear quoter is the bigger show off *smiles*

show off!

blueseaurchin

Dragonfly: I can hover, dive and elegantly attack my prey in mid-air, but all you can call me is delicate.

annie

I think our honourable friend Duke Unreliable OBE has a point!

xx

Peach

so which: broken or damaged?

Blueseaurchin

Have the pants shrunk? Usually if they were draped over properly they would be longer...

kermit

how about if we share a picture of our pants first, can we then see your mysteriously blacked out pants then?
